Chief of Awesomeness

Code Name: Wild Card

Super Ability: Multitasking

Special Skill: Flashlight Light Saber Fights

Weakness: Shiny Objects

Tyler is the glue that holds everything together. People love him, dogs adore him. Pushing what can be done to the limits, he has truly helped change how dog walking works. It’s not just a job for Tyler; It is truly a lifestyle!

Where it All Began

Tyler joined the Beast Master family in 2010. Working and training with the company, not only has he gained a truly extensive knowledge of dog behavior, but has helped turn the company into what it is today. Tyler is a valuable asset to the company, the dogs and their owners.

Tyler’s love of working with dogs started in his home state of Colorado where he volunteered with Freedom Service Dogs. A non profit, specializing in rehabilitating and certifying service dogs rescued from high risk kill shelters.

Personal History

An entrepreneur from a young age, he owned a company that was contracted for FEMA work in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina. He then operated a roofing company for a number of years before moving to New York. It is no exaggeration to say that Tyler excels in whatever industry he decides to tackle; but has truly found something he loves to do with Beast Masters.

His Pet Family

Tyler literally (yes I’m using that word correctly) rescued his dog Bailey; he was tied to a tree during the hurricane when Tyler found him and took him in. They have been inseparable since and are the true poster children for ‘best buddies’. More recently Tyler adopted Remo, a retired Belgian Malinois. Remo has taught Tyler patience, fortitude and the true nature of training dogs for an urban life.

Certified Trainer

Tyler obtained his CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed) from the Certified Council for Professional Dog Trainers in 2016. To learn more about this highly prestigious accreditation you can go to the CCPDT’s Website.
